I'm with you Shawn. Those So Cal people are spoiled with their moderate temps. We hit 106 the other day so I headed to the lake. If it's going to be hot, I'd rather be sitting beside the water drinking a cold one with my buddies.

I just got back from Lake Havasu the weather was perfect. I am going to Park Moabi this weekend and I'll try to remember to take some pictures of the actual camp site. It should be a little cooler in September the average high temp for these dates is 100*, and the low is 75*.

yeah but i would have to be sitting in the water since i dont drink remember, but i just bought a portable a/c unit and a generator so i guess im bringing that spoiled socal moderate weather with me, it hasnt been 106 but it has been average 103 everyday here lately.

Yeah, what a rollercoaster ride. It's suppose to be 70 at Lake Nacimiento this weekend. It was over 100 last weekend. Somewhere in between would have been nice.

No need to worry about temps until the week before. Maybe we'll hit a cool spell and it will only be 95.
