April 12th MAP Meet

Matt (720Deere) and myself were discussing about a meet and greet for all the new faces for the first official MAP get together.

The meet will be held April 12th (Saturday) at Cecil County Dragway during the Super Stallions of the Net track rental day.

Gates open at 8AM, how about meeting up at the Flying J at 7AM, and then heading to the track by 8AM. All information including directions will be passed out, but for now let's get this in the works.


The Flying J is located off I-95 Exit 100, Northeast Maryland. Specifically the first thing you see on Lums Road. Attached is an overhead map of the location, and a satellite image.








Cecil County Dragway is located at 1916 Theodore Road, Rising Sun Maryland.



The price of admission is $10, and the price to race is going to be $55 (Paypal). I'm more encouraged in thinking that this will be a good day for hanging out and meeting with everyone versus actual racing. Get your tickets fast, the end date for the ticket sale is March 25!

Hopefully we can at least get a pile of window decals made up by then if not some shirts. We can do decal installs at the J so when the convoy rolls in on the Stangs we are rep'n the MAP!

Yeah, after Atco, I'd like to see it again to!

And just a FYI, Cecil is "rented" out that day. Sorta like MDTDC's Diesel Day. They might allow other racers, but no guarantee.

Either if any of us run or not...it'd be a nice day to watch some nice Fords. My father-in-law is considering bringing out the '72 again, and his friend might bring up his GT250.
