The Dyno man was horrible at Blowing Rock.

He seriously needs to find a new profession.

Shoot, you better be there marty, I wanna see Hi Ho Silver runnin!!

Yeah the tq numbers were off at SSS, but the whole dyno was off at BR. He didnt even load the trucks correctly. We knew of some trucks that should have made over 500HP, and they were makin less than 400. Hanks truck weighs 8000lbs, he weighed it, and the dyno operator put in 7000. But, for the Scheide Truck, he spent LOTS of time loading it on the dyno. Course, he made 1000+ Hp on fuel and Meth Only.... big name, right load...

The numbers at the SSS last year and at BR were not off on the dyno. we had a printer problem that would not print off the torque numbers until later. the schied truck only made 889 HP. The mustang dynos always run lower HP and torque than the dyno jets because it is simulating the load on the road and the dyno jet does not. The only truck that we have had make 1000+ HP on that dyno was a diesel drag truck and a super gas car.

Scott the biggesst complaint is the dyno jet which I explained above. I think many people get mislead when they put some mods and the box said it should make x amount of HP. some of these aftermarket chips don't specify rear wheel HP or engine HP which I am sure you know that deal. Every time I have added one thing to my truck i dyno it before I add another so I can see the stock number and the inmprovement. Many guys don't have the oppurtunity to do that. I used to run an edge chip and it did not give me enoughso I switched to the banks chip and have had really good luck. what i have seen on the dyno on my truck has matched the improvement banks has given on the box.
