My plan was to come down Thursday. Logan, Scott, how early can we set up camp? Cause if we can't set up till Friday, I'll need a place to park myself and the camper if I get one...Scott's shop maybe?

I am planning off Monday anyways so dropping a camper off Monday is no biggie. I, and Matt too, mentioned about gettng one down there somewhere...any one know of some places I can call and find out?

I doubt it would be a problem, but we would need to find out before hand. I don't want to speak for Scott, but if you are self contained, I am sure you could park out back at Scott's. I doubt he would mind.

At this point (and it's still very early) I plan to travel down Thursday evening. I don't think there will be much happening early on Friday from the sounds of it. Even if I were to get down there at 12 AM I could be up in the morning by 8 and ready to go setup at the track. I'm trying to not take any more time off from work then I absolutely have to since the weekend before I will be off 2 days for Richmond.

Don't let me dictate what anybody else does. I log quite a few long trips every year without company so I don't mind traveling by myself.

Tent camping is allowed. There are showers on the grounds as well.

You have to have a CB with the big trucker wheels on your truck and the stacks! Breaker breaker how bout ya Black Betty!

Yeah, I only really use it when I am on the interstate. More so when I am by myself. You can get a lot of good info and entertainment while on the road.

Are there any restrictions on generators, like shut off hours?

Just going from my camping experience Derrick but when it's hot and the majority of the crowd has been drinking hard, nobody will be able to stop the use of generators at night. At the Nascar races it's understood that we're all there for the same thing and the generators are going to run. I don't have a problem with it as long as the guy next to me doesn't have a Home Depot special hammering along at 105 db all night long. Those types usually lose a spark plug wire in the middle of the night!

The track looks to be semi-secluded so I imagine nobody will be uptight about it.

Hopefully some of us Indy guys can convoy down. I'm not going to miss SSS this year! Mabye I'll meet ABOBB south of Indy somewhere too. A tent sounds good enough for me. I will be one month short of 21 that weekend.....but wait my ID says I'm 22!!!
