Well in this case here is how my call would g.

"Hello Mr X. I know you are familiar with the situation that is going on and I have a solution. I am sending a friend of mine (CLover) to pick up the 1705 at 8pm tomorrow evening, This way your son will have no issues with shipping the product, I am sure this is the reason I do not have it
And my buddy will be responsible for getting it to me.
Is 8pm ok, Or would you like me to get there before dinner, Around 6pm or so? And do I have the correct address 12345 lane

Ps. Mr X, If your son does not have the 1705, That is ok, I will then pick up my 140.00 in cash and we will call this over.
See you at 8pm

I agree just call him and act understanding, being rude and threatening goes no where, if i were him and you threatend me id laugh. but if you were polite for now I may do something, its hard to say because im not sure how a theifs mind works... but if i lived near him id be at his door, or we could have a meet n great in his front yard.

ok, sounds like you have gotten nowhere with this. I think its time we got a few psd.orger's in the thiefs area to drop by and knock on his door. I for one will gladly volunteer if he is out here in Douglas County Oregon or Sacramento County California. This kind of things cannot be tolerated at the org, or anywhere for that matter.

I think the father needs to be contacted and made aware of the situation and (like was said earlier) arrange for a meet time. If you just start sending folks over there I think it's gonna turn ugly and get nothing resolved. We don't know anything about these people or their state of mind. I know that if people just started showing up at my house for something my son did (after I whipped my sons azz) you would be asked to leave and then forced. I just don't want anyone to get hurt. There is a gov agency that handles things like this now.
