This is a GREAT website

I have an F250 1995 PowerStroke with a rebuilt engine in it that has about 6600 miles on it. I've been coming on this site since I discovered it while experiencing mysteries during the rebuild & have learned so much. I am amazed at the long-term use technical responses have provided for us. I'll look at answers for issues that are even a year or years back that remain in the data base bank online for us & still will be able to troubleshoot with this site. I am grateful for who created & put this site together for us & who works at answering very hard questions for us. Mechanics can have 'stuck' places in trying to find whT's wrong with our Powestrokes I learned this last month breaking down in Thermopolis, WY on a trip. He said diagnostic code problem solving is limited with the first edition 1995's like mine, compared to how code readers work for newer models. So, he never was able to figure out why mine dies & looses acceleration dying out. I find a lot of similar symptoms here with many possible answers & rattle off to mechanics things I've learned. The last mechanic asked how I knew so much about 'these diesels' & I realize I learned great amounts of it here reading. I'm not a guy & rattle off to mechanics so many things to check they think I know something when I just pay attention as I'm reading here & listen as people who know much speak. I am so grateful for this site & the education it brings. My 7.3 has a new ICP sensor & now it starts & runs some, but dies & strands you overnight not starting or accellerating, for some reason later deciding to run some so I wonder if the ICP sensor needs gel at the connector point? Kind of crazy what is going on here. I want to check the injector glow plug connectors in case someone that worked on it prior didn't be sure there was no oil on them so I'll go try to get a manual showing how to do that tomorrow. Does anyone know the name of a really good manual I can get & where to get it? Thank you again for this site. I am so grateful for this place. I wondered if it was a fuel pump or throttle position sensor, some part stores call that a throttle switch control, but maybe that's a different part?
