i'm in the market for a used diesel, i googled "powerstroke forums" got a few hits, read a few threads and decided to register to ask some questions. the threads seam to be well written, there isn't a lot of newbie bashing (which is good, since i'm new) and i think marc knows everything there is to know about these trucks, as well as how to widdle a powerstroke out of wood. as long as i get a ford it will be sporting some stickers.

I've never been treated as bad on any other forum as I was over there. I honestly wish I'd paid an extra $12 here than what I now feel was a waste of money in support of their site. I haven't been back nor will I. Maybe it's because I Admin over here but those guys we're a bunch of rude sob's to me. We don't allow that kind of behavior over here. So in answer to that question Bill - NO ONE has left THIS site because they were trashed for doing nothing but trying to help. I left theirs just for that reason.

Some people caint look past the brand of truck one drives, it's unfortunate. I figure as long as it's a diesel, who cares wether it's Dodge, Ford, or Chevy. Main reason, I think anyway, alot of Ford guys catch flack on the two main Cummins sites I am active on are treatment from The Diesel Stop. Doesn't make it an excuse but thats where it stems from mainly IMO.

I'm all about diesel's too. A guy asked about the 6.0 because he was looking at buying one, I gave a polite answer and have guys who don't even own one starting crap - LITERALLY. I drive a BAD AZZ 6.0 - plain and simple. THAT is a FACT. I deal in FACTS. Those guys deal in......heck drugs for all I know because it's not FACT. Now toss in an azzhat Moderator and a crappy Admin and I'd had enough of that site. My 6.0 rocks......funny how the FACT still remains and they're still Azzhats.
I'll un-hijack the thread but the FACT remains, those guys were wrong. If I'm wrong, one of my mods will tell me, if they're wrong, I'll tell them - PO'ing the Admin on your sister site......pretty screwed up but hey - that's how they roll over there - more power to them. Bill's questions been answered by FACTS, and I'm out.

Agreed! My statement was only to be taken sarcasticly.(what can I say... I'm a smartas$!) I own 3 trucks, one is my baby (02 PSD) the other two are cummins powered "crew" trucks for my employees to drive around in. All three are great trucks, the older dodge has 290,000 miles and going strong! I drive the Ford because it is the nicest and most comfortable, and in my opinoin a better truck.
