There are over 18,000 members on this site and at any given time there may be at the most 5 in the chat rooms. If you truly have a problem and want answers posting in the appropriate forum will get the response you are looking for. If that doesn't happen quickly enough then you could post in the 911 thread.

Usually the "in crowd" bends over backwards to welcome new members and bump threads to the top in order to help people out. If we had statistics on how many of the thousands of posts that each of our top posting members have, I guarantee you that people like Banshee34, Rodslinger, Marc, Stump0331, Maintain, etc have a large percentage of "helpful" posts especially to newbies.

Asking a question in the chat room and getting disgruntled because one of the half dozen people there didn't answer you is like calling someone, getting the answering machine, not leaving a message and getting mad at them because they didn't call you back.

Sorry for the rant, but the whole "in crowd" comment is just uncalled for.

This place is FULL of those that want to help (me included, even though sometimes I have NO clue what to do to help )

the chat room can be kind of hectic at times. if you cant get an answer then keep trying, if it doesnt work there please make a post and it will have a better chance of getting answered.
