Membership Count

I just wanted to start a thread that chronicled how many members we have by date. As of today, April 1, 2007 we have 10,340 members. I can't remember how many we had when I joined in August 2006 but I think it was around 6,000.

If we grow at the same rate, we may just be able to end the 15,000 member contest by the end of the year.

I am going to try to update this on a monthly basis so we can see our growth. It's kind of like marking the wall in the kids closet to track their growth!

10,605 today. In 7 days that's nearly 300 new members.

Also, it looks like Stump will become the ultimate posting champ in a week or two. We should start a contest to predict when Stump will surpase Marc!

10,951 and counting! It's been 2 weeks since I started this thread and we have added a little over 600 new members. If we continue at this rate, we could hit 15,000 by the third week of July!

I knew I posted for the contest too soon. At the time I figured that August would have been a real stretch but it looks like it will happen sooner than that!

Not to be a downer since we are growing by leaps and bounds - what REALLY matters is the # of ACTIVE members!

Granted can't wait till we hit 15k tho!

Stump - I doubt Marc cares SOO much about his post count that he won't let you surpass him lol... He might jab atcha a lil but for the most part it's only a #...
