Thumbs up I really like this site!!

I just wanted to let the powers that be know, that I really, really like it here! I belong to several Ford Diesel sites, and this has become my favorite. I know it is small, but I like the family feeling here, the respect etc. I look forward to growing with this site!! Keep up the great work!!

suZ!

I like s-u-Z.....cuz it sounds like suv. kind of. I decided to go searching for a good diesel forum after growing to like StangNet so well. I'm also a bit of a mustang guy, and I nearly purchased an 03 Cobra before I bought my PSD.

Heavyweight beats lightweight

Yeah there's a few guys here in indy with 03's and 04's that are just plain ridiculously quick for everyday drivers. I wanted the power and speed, but I needed a truck for work, and I figured a diesel would be perfect to put the two together. Plus if I spend enough, I can pull up to the light and literally smoke some (maybe not cobras) but mustangs and camaros that think they're so fast. Try pushing our pounds with your little wimpy 4.6's and 5.7's!!!

buying the truck makes sence. although ive heard many good things about tyhe 03-04 cobras being sick fast with little modification.

I say the same thing when i line up with 4.6, 5.0, 5.7 you name it... my little 2.0 has beat its fair share of big motors. i get a lot of this.. "thats only a four banger?!?!"

of course!

Well of course, it's a TSi! When I ride with my buddy in his mustang we always go for races with the older Talons and Eclipses. We either win by a good margin, or get spanked back to the stone age. Sometimes we manage to pull back around 100 or so after that neck snapping awd launch...ugh! And yes, an 03 cobra can run 11's easy all day long with a smaller blower pulley, drag radials, and a nice shot of nitrous! They've in fact changed the rules at many drag strips because of 03's. At IRP it used to be 11.99 or lower you had to have a roll cage, now they bend the rule a bit cuz they're running high 12's right off the showroom floor!
