After 350,000 miles cylinder 8 is 13% lower than the others - pressure is crane case - need new bottom end.

question:

junk the truck after lots of current repairs - 15,000 last 4 months

Ford supplied "long block" - told includes injectors

After market "long block" - no injectors

This is a solid work truck which a enjoy driving -

Work truck I look at it this way, a week week in a half for the new long block. Once you look for a new one, buy it, safety lic ect. Your looking at probably week and a half to two weeks. Plus you'd be out the 15,000 you have spent on this one. You would be spending a lot more on a new one once you get it then delete it if that's not already done. Also buying used you may be getting someone else's problem. I'd keep the 6.0 if it were me. If the body is still good you know the history of it. Just my .02.
What is the difference in price between the two long blocks once you add injectors?
