Hi all.
Since I'm new in here I will make a short introduction on my self first.
My name is Ivar and I live in Iceland. I have spent a lot of my free time traveling around the highlands, especially around winter and that includes glacier trips. This is something I have been doing for 10 yrs now. For these types of travel we use custom trucks with larger tires and in 2010 I bought my first Ford truck.
So the truck I bought was a 2005 F350, King Ranch SB SRW. I soon started modifying the truck.
The truck is lifted around 6-7" where everything is done custom from steel plates, pipes and profile.
In front I use HD springs and KONI shocks (something that is good and available domestically) but in the rear I have airbags and KONI shocks as well in 4 link suspension setup.
Front axle was moved 2" forward and the rear axle 6" backwards to make some space for the tires.
I also cut a lot of steel away and even a little bit into the floor so I had to remake that.
Fiberglass fender flairs where installed to cover the wider tires.
5.13 gears, crawler gear, truetrac lockers etc.
Several other modifications where done on the car that I don't want to bother listing all, but you can ask if something interests you.
The engine got ARP, innivative SCT tune, 4" exhaust, EGR delete and some other upgrades and is probably somewhere ~450hp+ is my guess. At least I have seen EGT up to 1600F!!! but I don't drive the truck at those temps.

Now, this was just an introduction to what I would like to discuss
The truck is 2005 and has 75k miles on it so soon I would like to build a new one.
I have learned a lot about what I would like to do differently next time so my next truck will be even better.
I have plans to buy 6.7L and a friend of mine intends to build one for him self from a 6.4L F350.
What I would like to do is buy the cars in the US, have some changes done to them there and them import the cars to Iceland. Now sourcing a car and have some work done with it from abroad is a difficult task and I need a reliable service. Is there someone you can point out that I could talk to about this?
The work I would like to have done in the US is everything that does not affect the outer look of the car, as customs in Iceland are pain in the ?ss to deal with regarding importing car parts. Gears, shocks, 4 link, lockers engine work if any etc.
