Out with the old in with the new

I have the truck in my sig and I recently slid on ice and trashed the whole one side. So I'm looking for a truck to swap my engine with. I've been looking for them blown up or just cheap for just the body but am wondering if the 2003 engine and ECM will work with all the way up to a 2007or if I have to stick with 03 or 04. Any feedback would be nice thanks in advance.

Well i'm putting a 2001 7.3 into a 1994 F-350 so I would think you could fit one in the 04-07 models...but it sounds like even more work than what i'm doing.

It is an 03 6.0. I'm just wondering if the ECM for an 03 with the engine will be compatible with the 07 or earlier accessories. And don't really want my insurance to go up more than it already is lol
