I thought it may be nice to start a build thread since a bunch of the body parts just left this afternoon for paint.
Truck isn't going to be a hotrod, but pretty respectable in power for a tow rig. I'm going to keep the same paint color to keep things a bit easier too.
I hope to have a 6 leaker by the end of the year. Gotta move some other stuff sold and out of the way. Like my other trailer and the ECLB OBS. Ill find the right one though. Im wanting more of a basket case to force myself to really know the ins/outs of the 6blow. Then I can stop pretending to know what Im talking about in the 6.0 chat threads. lease::dunno::rofl:
I do plan on having all the fun tunes on there too, but I havent quite decided which trucks will end up staying with the shop or going to a new owner. I've been looking around for a cheap 6.4 or 6.0 to tinker with next. But that will be a bit as I need to start getting important projects going and done. Mainly the website, and thats a big one that NEEDS done.
I have an Aeromotive A1000, studs, springs, our HPOP, the prototype CNC Fab eFuel, 38gal single Bronco fuel tank, soon to be CNC Fab bellowed up pipes, I'm thinking of fab'ing our own CAI with an S&B filter or the AFE BHAF.
And of course a STG2 Sam Wyse trans w/ DPC converter
It currently loaded on the trailer ready to go the body shop. Just waiting on them to give me the word. Their shop isnt really big, so this pig takes up alot of room in there. Once it goes in, hes going to work on it strictly until its done.
This one has turned into quite the fiasco and may end up in court. Different body shop than the one that did my 6.0 and the truck is still in it's current state as the pictures show. #functioningalcoholic.
