Starting to log my build before I get too far behind.
Started out with a 97 single cab zf5 4x4 farm truck.
We gutted the interior the next day, there was a new bottle of Stetson cologne under the seat. The name Stetson seemed to be fitting for the truck as it was an old ratty farm truck.
To catch up where I'm at I'll speed through the work I've done up until last weekend:
2011 seats went in
Factory Alcoa 16"s were put on
E99 intercooler, spider and custom tubing
Rosewood 160/80 injectors
SD UVCH conversion
Southbend clutch with smf
5" exhaust with a muffler
Ts6
D66 turbo- 1.0 housing
08 bumper swap
Now, the front end (ttb) was shot so I picked up a full axle and suspension set up out of an 08 f250. Gathered parts for a couple weeks and started the swap two days ago.
TTB out of the way
Rolled the straight axle under it
Mocked everything up, drilled/bolted in radius arm brackets, coil buckets etc. Now waiting for a reamer to real out my factory pitman arm for the larger Superduty set up.
Shouldn't be too much longer until its up and running!
After reading through a lot of swaps I decided to go with a 2.5" lift to gain just a little bit of height, it sits MUCH taller than expected but still looks great.
I wanted a "factory" looking set up so I found the 18" king ranch wheels thinking they'll look sharp with the obs lines. Hate that I can't run my Alcoas anymore!
