Superwinch?

Well, I am still in the market for a winch...Some things have caused me to tighten up the finances a bit. (I have some other things I needed to do around here) I was just looking around at some of the other companies that make winches and was looking at reviews/specs/prices etc. Up until today I had never even considered anything but Warn. I noticed that warn has had some negative reviews...especially in the thermometric (ti) series ones. I got to looking at Superwinch and see nothing but good reviews and they claim to have a sealed contactor. Anyone have any experience with these? They say the only approved mounting method is foot forward, but can they be mounted foot down even though it isn't "approved"? Just looking at my options....the superwinch is about 1/2 price of the warn. Thanks for the input.

Not on a truck but I have Superwinches in my trailers for loading cars and like them.

That seems to be the general consensus on all the reviews I read. Maybe I will have to be a guinea pig with the truck ones.
