OFF-ROADING fun but hazardous!

So my buddy and i have been getting hansy for some fun in the mud. when enjoy the occasional outing to go offroading and we were supposed to get some rain this last weekend. we didnt get much so we decided to just go find something to play in. well we found some nasty spots, and a sinkhole...

explanation and pics:

So we started off driving to an area where my buddy had almost lost his jeep, but it was after a lot of rain so it was easy for our trucks

Then we went where we were told were some mud pits. didnt find much. it was loose sand and some green areas that didnt look to safe to drive. my buddy got the bright idea to try it out.

you can see how far in he made it before i had to pull him back and try to manuver him around to get him out.

Still going...

making ground

and ruts...

nice and deep...

and we're free!!

Then we headed out did a few donuts had some fun. Headed to another area we knew there would be some mub and had a little fun there til i found this mud hole and sank.

didnt get in very far

down to the frame.

we tried with my buddies truck for a while ended up breaking a couple of straps. i will upload the pics of that damage later. he went around to try another spot to pull and found a sink whole and almost lost his passenger side fron tire. Had to call out another guy who lived near there. It was dark by this point so i dont have any more pics. got my buddies truck out and then used both trucks to get mine out. it was quite a night.

I love getting stuck and unstuck. I just don't like the bill.

I don't go in areas I think I will get stuck because none of the friends have trucks as big or bigger than mine and I don't want to take the chance. I'm usually the guy pulling out, and I'm not cheap

hey cowboy, the pictures were great, espically the one with the mountain in the back, maybe it's time to buy some mud tires, instead of the A/T

Yeah that probably would help me out. But i havent found my self in a situation i wasnt able to get out of yet. sometimes it takes a little extra help, but that is why it is good to have friends with vehicles similar to what i have. I need to go get the pics of the damage.

I input one of mine to the iron bull bumper pic contest, so hopefully i can get something out of it.

my friends and i are pretty cool about pulling people out. we dont charge cause we are hoping we will get the same treatment, when we cant get out. Plus i get soo much enjoyment from pulling people out and saying yeah i did that, it is enough payment for me.

Only reason I charge anymore is because thats the only time they call me anymore. So if the only time the want to talk to me is when they are in trouble. Your going to pay for it. last year in december A buddy called me and both of them got stuck. I pulled my truck through the timber which was interesting and got them out, 2 hours later. $150 and 2 cases of beer. Thats just what they gave me so since then I've been charging.
