I went there for a photoshoot so it is clean...drove out took a bunch of photos, including this one, and had some fun for a few hours...sorry maybe a mile and a half, it was an estimate. I broke my tracbar bracket that day too.. but no its not a staged photo..I have no problem admitting when I have staged photos...just look at the ROTM for May, now that was a staged photo...lol...

for starters you forgot to put the quotes at the end...so i did it for you...second, its sand, not mud so it'll take a while for the truck to get covered and it still won't look "filthy" just dusty...come down from OR sometime and check it out. Its really fine sand too and it gets everywhere. Im still vacuuming it out of the truck, lol

Hey Britt, there is no beach near there either....

Mines been over the sea-wall at Florence ( the first and last time) too and didn't get filthy.

....yes, i know how sand is, when i saw your truck the first thing that came to mind is how that stufff gets into everything.
So you are a photographer huh? I've messed with cameras since i was 9 and bought my first brownie with savings from washing cars and doing lawns. To be honest i much prefer mud to sand as it dosen't get into things like sand, and sand is very abrasive as well. I just couldn't resist rattlein your cage when i saw your purty truck with the decal on the side.
Oh, and you'll likely be finding traces of that sand if secluded nooks and cranny's for years to come if you have your truck that long.

I love the sand, riding quads, driving sandrails, just having fun with the trucks...not a big fan of mud, at least sand it easy to clean off, mud sticks and dries and then clogs everything up...anyway, to each his own with that... No I am not a photographer, but I didn't do a bad job with these. They are going to appear in Diesel Tech mag soon. I know about finding sand in little nooks...like I said, I am still vacuuming it out, lol. The abbrasive is nice, I can shine my steering and repaint my axles whenever I am done out there. lol and just FYI, it takes a lot to rattle my cage lmao

I didn't mean anything derogatory just in fun. The mud has its drawbacks, water in axles, mud in out of the way places hard to wash out. The trick with mud is to wash it out before it drys like concret. At least thats what i try to do. Congradulations on getting published! I think thats way cool. DT mag huh? Never read it but am gonna look into it as it sounds like something I'd be interested in. Paid $107 today at a discount place for 25 gallons of D! I had to run my card twice to fill up.
