Thanks ...well i live in the heart of the Rust Belt. I still see old Bronco twos, well worn f series , and old chevies still toolin down the road around here. Cant sneak up on an old chevy without smelling it first though...man them things run RICH. If I could put a big funnel on the front of my truck, direct it to the intake,i could boost my fuel mileage a little !
I remember when the DATSUN's first showed up in this area way back in the 70's... It was entertaining to watch them ,all pretty and stuff for the first 3tto 4 years...then a condition we call "spontaneous rust" would set in. It would happen practically overnight. All of a sudden you would have 15-30 rust spots show up,bout the size of half dollars. The american trucks, it was predictable in 5 to 10 years, from the bottom up unless you had it rustproofed when new . The imports had a LOT of badly recycled steel in them.

Smile little more

Forgot to put in the part about the ford guy laughing his butt off as he pulls you out, and does it for free...

Thats good. It seems like I am always the one to pull people out when they get drunk and start going fielding and get stuck.

I always love getting flagged down by people in SUV's who got stuck in snow banks or snow drifts cuss they don't know how to drive in snow and spin out. or just thought that gunning it would get them into their drive way that has two feet of snow in it. Never can get over the look of the guy asking a girl to pull them out!
