6.0 L PSD Fuel milage

Thought I'd try and get some data on fuel economy for the 6 L, An article in Motortrend had it at 16.6 mpg. Please be accurate and report configuration changes that would affect mileage only (tires, chips, intake etc)

I run an intake, exhaust, and 285/75/R16's. I think I should get better than mid 13's...

Yeah, I picked 15-16, It really all just depends, I can see 18.5 on the lie-o-meter on the highway, and see 12s and 13s in stop and go around town. But, all in all, its prolly around 15...Oh, did I mention mine has a big ole butt...Its a dually

I run a 4" exhaust 285/75/18 on the average i get 16.5 mpg it is 2006 with 15K on it.I have got 19 mpg out of it on a long trips to Colorado.Thats not using the meter in the dash.Filling it plumb full and putting 500 miles on it and filling full again and checking it that way.

I went with 15 - 16 also because that IS what I get around town... About 15 in the summer with the A/C blowing and about 15.5 in the winter.... Don't know the highway mileage because the only longer trips I take are pulling the 5th wheel (at about 18,000 - 19,000 lbs gross combined)... When towing the worst I've gotten is 12.9 and that had it's share of uphill at 60 and 65 mph so I'm not complaining....

Ken....

I get around 15 w/ the intake, 4" exhaust, and the Juice on the HOT setting. I seem to get a little less when I romp on it more than not, but I can understand why...LOL!!
