im can understand both sides, this truck will primarily be used for pulling a 20ft enclosed trailer, sometimes i would like a regular box to haul little things that i can just throw in the back of my truck, but then sometimes i like the flatbed because its different than most of the trucks around me. i was just wondering what everbody thought

Just put some wood sideboards on it and you have a box, I have a flatbed on my '89, it is the sole reason I will never get rid of that truck. Flatbeds are more handy than you can imagine.
