Stereo vs. Topper

OK, i have my choice of two things to get over my xmas break.
I can either get a LEER truck topper...the 100xq ( LEER truck caps and tonneaus for Ford pickups ) Ths one is insulated with a headliner and everything, and i would put drop down 15" inch monitors in it too. It would be used mainly to camp in.

Or i can can have a new sub box made and some fiberglass work for more speakers.....using the equipment outta my car. The car was used for stereo comps. and the truck would now have 4 12" Autotek meanmachines, 3 sets of components, and 4 6x9's, batt cap, 2000watt rms class X Autotek amp, and 2 more class AB autotek amps for the mids and highs....car did 159db's in comps before, and the truck would be even louder, more power from 2 batteries and bigger alt. plus less airspace in the cab. I plan to remove the back seat.

With the big hills you have down there on 19, I would get some power first lol. I remember when they did all the blasting and removed ALOT of rock from that route. I use to drive thru there a couple times a week. Beautiful!

I would get the topper first, and then fill it with stereo...LOL!!!!!!!

I say topper - ESPECIALLY if you're putting the 15" monitors in it.

Something about removing the backseat to put stereo stuff in just doens't tickle my fancy.

Monitors in a cap however sound good!

I say big power. Do you use your bed at all? If you do, the topper might be a pain, but if you already have big plans for the bed, you could go a head and get the topper, and start putting your other stuff in till you can get the custom box done.
