Post Charger or G35???

OK, the g/f and I have been talking. Charger SRT-8 or G35 Coupe 6MT?

Both are about the same price; $40,000-$45,000

Charger Pros: 4 Doors, 6 spd auto-stick tranny, 6.1L Hemi, looks AWESOME!

G35 Pros: 2 Doors, 6 spd manual, Loaded to the gills, Sexy styling and handles like Ferrari.

The Charger looks cool, sounds cool, but deep down it's a dodge man! Its like the guy who owns a Viper, he owns an 80k Dodge! They are built cheap and they rattle after a while. I used to haul cars for Allied and I’ve hauled many Chargers I know. Go with the G35 you will be much happier. My brother owns the 350Z same car only with no rear seats. I have also hauled the G35 handles way better lasts a lot longer, is much, much better with fuel, you could even install a turbo on it if you wish. Yes, I would most definitely go with the G35, sorry Charger you look cool sound cool, but your a Dodge!

if the infiniti is made in the usa, get it, otherwise buy the dodge and help support america.

My ex g/f has a charger. I personally think it's a pos, but all her friends are brainwashed by comercials on tv and think it's the sh*t.

Infitity is a much more refined car. Definately more class and will handle 10x's better. (I've driven the 350z and the charger, not the infinity).

you should be owing a diesel, buuuuut, as the two cars go, the infinity is much better, yeah, the charger looks cool, but it is crap, ive had dodge products before, (and not the k-cars) and none of them were any good. and these were supposed to be the quality ones! fact of the matter is, ever since the inception of the k-cars all chrslyer/plymouth/dodge products are just cleaner versions of that. BTW subaru and honda are in the process of making diesel autos, the subaru will be it's tried and true flat four cylinder, and honda will be making one that turns its exaust (at least a portion of it) from nitrogen oxide, to just nitrogen. we should see them by '08 for probably '09

I'm still going to be rolling in the 7.3L at least until '09-'10 when I can get a 6.4L TT. Then I have to decide to either get the 6.4LTT and deal with another car payment each month, or, spend a good $10-20,000 and get a new 7.3L motor with all the fixin's in my 2000, updating the mechanicals and going over the truck with a fine tooth comb; rebuilding the axles, tranny, motor, new seats, etc. Pretty much making it a new truck without having the $800 a month payment for the next 5-6 years.

She is LOVING the truck, but she wants a car that gets decent mileage and looks/drives good. She was sold on the Charger as long as it was an R/T or SRT8, but now, she is rethinking the Charger in favor of the G35. Her uncle has one and she liked it A LOT!!! What makes the decision harder is that they are both about the same price. (Though the G35 is going to be easier to get because they are only making 1000 SRT8's per year.)

We test drove a G35 and I thought it was awesome. Great power, excellent ride and good looks. We looked at the Charger and couldn't see paying that much for a Dodge car. I also wasn't too sure about the cutting off a few cylinders to save gas thing. If you want the 4 doors get the 4 door G35. Wife liked the Mercedes C240 more so that is what she got. The C240 is a great car, just short on room.
