Bail Out

So...we all know that Ford is in the best shape out of the big 3...Chrysler is in the worst, followed by GM. My question is, hypothetically if Ford went under and had to liquidate their vehicles (which has been mentioned...12k for a 09?), does that mean the "Scorpian" motor will be canned? How many of you would go out and buy a new truck once these companies failed?

New truck for 12k, yeah I'd go buy it. Hope it doesn't come to that though.

For $12k I might buy it cash, I'd probably get 2. Leave a $12k deposit and finance the rest. 50% on each truck would get me a hell of a deal.

Perhaps if the price were REALLY good. No offense to the guys who like the look of the new trucks but UGH those things are ugly. That was the reason we bought my wife's Dodge this go around!

If I could buy a well optioned 09 for less than 20k I would buy certainly buy 1 or 2 of them. But I really hope it doesn't come to that as in south east michigan where I live it would be devastating.

i dont really have the money to buy another truck, but if i could get a single cab dirt cheap, i would make it a short bed and make it into a race truck.

I personally wouldn't buy any new truck until they get all of the emissions equipment figured out.
