As far as the 6.4 goes my 6.0 is the baddest thing on 4 wheels, rock solid and I've got WAAAAY too much into her to let her go.

I have the best of both worlds, 07 550 (100k warranty) with a 6.0. Oh and a 03 DC Tacoma.

I'll keep the 6.0 for now. I just bought it(hopefully they have the bugs worked out by now). I'll wait a few and see how the 6.4 works out.

I'm waiting until Mid-2009 at the earliest to get a 6.4

Currently, I couldn't afford a new truck if I sold both kidneys and my 7.3.

By '09, I should have the 7.3 payed off and a decent enough job to get an '09 or '10 6.4L and I will know the track record of the motor.

Also, I've been thinking about the future and I'm seeing a family and all that stuff. I'd like to head into a future filled with screaming kids and family trips to grandma and grandpa's in a nice, new 6.4L and the knowledge that I'm not going to have any problems with it.

If all else fails, and the 6.4 turns out to be a POS like many of the 6.0's, I'll just invest more $$$ into my 7.3 by the way of a complete rebuild and going over the truck with a fine tooth comb.
