What Is Your Average Fuel Mileage

We get a lot of members asking what they should be expecting to get for fuel mileage. So I figured a poll would be a great way for us to get an average. Lets base this on highway conditions without a load, or towing and without a rice burner in your rear view mirror.

Yeah I jumped the gun too...I did just what I did in school, didn't read the directions! Anyway I haven't done an exact calculation yet, but i'm estimating 17-18 and possibly as much as 20 on really good days and a tailwind...

Evidence of how mileage varies, even with the same exact configurations! Hopefully we're all enjoying 15+ empty

I finally run a full tank in mine and checked the mileage and it is 13.5 . That is a combination 50/50 of city and highway. As posted earlier highway only was 15.5

That's not too bad...think of the 5.4 or the v10's mileage. What all if anything do you have done to the truck?

Truck is totally stock. It just has an aftermarket grill. I was practically babying it this whole tank also. That's ok though I did not go buy this rig expecting to get "miracle" gas mileage from a 10k pound truck.
