Hi guys. New to the site.

I average 18mpg highway in my crew cab short box when I set my cruise control to 61-62mph with the tachometer needle sitting at 1750-1800rpm.

I voted 15, but on the highway my 6.0 runs just above 18 mpg. About 15.2 - 15.5 average running back and forth to work through red lights and traffic. I have seen as high as a little above 19 from strictly highway miles. This with an auto and 3.73 rears with no controller or programmer.

Barely 17 here on my daily commutes.

On LONG HWY trips averaging 70-75mph I've gotten as good as 23.5 mpg.

Ya, I didn't read the directions either.

I average 14mpg across the board, but my truck tows every day. Either a empty 4000lb trailer or a loaded 14000 lb.

I did run a 300 mile trip recently and got upwards of 18 mpg.

Some days I miss my 6.2 at 27 mpg empty and 18 loaded.

I drive about 12-15 miles to and from work daily, along with a few stints around Columbia/Ellicott city. I'm averaging 16mpg though yesterday (Sat) I filled up and calculater 15.4mpg. That's w/out a programer on my 36" TSL radials and BAD alignment/ball joints. I'm pretty heavy on the peddel around town and keep the cruise on while on the hwy/freeway. I rarely get over 65mph (though I did drop the hammer the other day when I was late to work and got from base, home, and back in less than 30 mins. EGT's never got over 650.) I'm pretty adimant about keeping an eye on the EGT when accelerating and going up grades. Usually if it gets over 600, I'll back off; unless I'm embarrassing some punk in a Civic. hehehe
