Would having stickers saying NJ State Police be illeagal?

Just trying to find new ways to avoid getting pulled over// What does everyone think about me getting vinyl made up for the front and rear bumpers that say
NJ State Police , im thinking the cops will think im an off duty cop or my dad is or something, or would i need to have "I Support" before it? Or is it just a bad idea? thanks for the input

bad idea, you dont want to try to impersonate a cop. the CHP has stopped issuing 11-99( radio code for officer down) plate frames because people found out they could get out of tickets. i think you just need to either slow down or make your truck somewhat more legal. JMO

Make your truck more legal. If a twelve inch lift toots your horn, put it on a show rig or something, not a DD

that is a bad idea, you will get pulled over then when they realize your not in a gov vehicle and not a cop, your incovince will turn into jail

If you've been in the military, put an Army. Navy AF, or Marines sticker on the back. I was in the Navy and have always had Navy stickers on the back of my vehicles. I have been pulled over a couple of times, and it stood out to me that the cop always asked me if I was in the military. When I said yes, the told me to slow down, and then let me go.
If you haven't been in the military, ... well , inlist, and then get the sticker.

I don't know if it will work up north or not but it works down here

No doubt, Although when I drive on of our company trucks which is lettered up, I never get messed with, just today tho i got pulled over in one that wasnt lettered, and i think they let the worker type get off better... I like the one that says join the mIl for a sticker!

It would not be illigal to put a small novelty type sticker on your truck, but its not a good Idea, if you do get pulled and they see your a fake... whamm.

Plus at Fort bragg we got all of these heros driving around with 82nd, paratrooper, jumpmaster, OIE, OEF vet stickers. glad they are proud, I know I am however, it looks kind of cheesy, maybe they are compesating for something.
