I'd imagine that they pay for advertising the way everyone else does, like FS-2500, Auto Anything (who are also among the other biggest advertisers there) do. Our small poll demonstrates what Banks probably already knew, that Diesel Power is the premiere magazine for diesel enthusiasts, Banks spending money there to advertise is just good business sense; unless you know something that we don't...like Banks publishes it or something? Advertising is one thing, I haven't picked up on DP being pro-Banks, anti-anyone, unless I'm missing something

I'm a big DP fan but I picked up a new one while visiting in San Diego called Diesel Builder. It's 2nd on my list.

Well you don't really have to have a psd to get it, lol! I found it a while after I got my PSD back in 04 and never signed up. I always wanted to but would forget about it. It's pretty similar to TDR's magazine as both are exclusive and feature specific information to said engines. I think it's published 4 times a year too....now I own a Cummins and I still haven't subscribed to TDR yet either, lol....looks like both are 35 bucks a year to subscribe?

Yeah, the Diesel Builder issue I got was pretty cool. Not as big and info packed as DP but still great mag.....

I kinda like the new one "Diesel Builder" Its not full of show trucks that most of us cant afford. It also has alot of articles on stuff we all will eventually need to do, not just lift kits and Banks bundles. I havent seen Diesel Progress Nate talks about. I will have to look for that one.

I've been reading Diesel Power for about 2 years now, and I think it is one of the best sources for info on Diesels, and for new ways to spend your money .

I agree with DPP, DB is a pretty good magazine......I still like the show trucks, but i'd still like to see a daily driven somewhat beat up looking 800+ horse monster somewhere in between

Poll has already been closed, but if I were to vote, it would have been for Diesel Power. I always try to stop and pick up a DP every issue. Very good rag
