Im running the Pit Bull Rockers 39x16.5x16.5 and have about 20,000 miles on them and I need one tire. The front hub was going out and eat the tire up real good before I noticed it. I have to say these are the quietest mud tire Ive ever run. They even balanced out very well with the worst one only needin like 5 oz. to balance the other three were like an 1-1.75 oz to balance. I will probabaly run these tires for a long time to come.

I had a set of Interco Trxus M/T's on a Chevy a couple few years ago. The wear was a little funny (285/75R16's on stock rims with cranked torsion bars) but they would rip and tear. They took me several places I had no business being, but got out on my own power. I've ran Nitto Terra Grapplers on a Silverado 2500HD. Good all terrain, b1tchin' in the snow, NOTNOTNOTNOT a mud tire. Also, very soft rubber. A guy'll get 30k if he's lucky, much less if towing frequently. Those tires got me stuck more than once. With my new truck, it had the factory street rib tires with 52k miles. Needless to say I had to buy new tires. Made a trip to Farm & Fleet and got the Cooper Discoverer S/T's. 285/75R16. Awesome looking tire. Kind of an even mix between an A/T and a M/T. Noise is no more than the BFG A/T's on my wifey's Explorer. On sale for $160 something. |

One of the guys I work with has the Nitto's on his 6.6L HD. He pulls an approx. 4000# trailer regularly. His tires are wearing rapidly, especially in the rear. 25-30k miles is all that he's going to get from a set. I enjoyed them for terra firma (worthless in mud deeper than 3"), they rode nice and didn't generate excessive amounts of noise. Soft rubber is excelent in snow but not so much on longevity. |

I used to run BFG's MT's and AT's untill I got the Firestone Destination AT, and MT. These are great tires for the money. They are quieter, ride better, and most importantly much cheaper then BFG's. I had 25K on the Destination AT's when I sold my truck and there was atleast 75% tread depth left. My bro had the AT's on his Duramax for 45K and there aprox 40% tread depth when he got new tires. I have the Destination MT's on my 05 which have about 5K miles on them and they still look like new.
