A guy I work with has the Nuvi 250. I have the TomTom One XL S.

Long story short.. He will be selling his Nuvi. Until you spend over $500, TomTom is a better unit.

Here is one that i got my better half for x-mas. And you can find it for less in the big box stores and on line.

My garmin nuvi 250 was around $300 Its a base model no frills but works very well I would recommend it to anyone who isn't looking for all the bells and whistles (blue tooth,mp3,etc)

I have the tom tom 720 and it works great for me. My phone is not compatable with the bluetooth but the mp3 is pretty cool. I was under $350 and is more accurate than I thought it would be.
