why should there be interest in it first before you will share?

Isn't that what this forum is all about, sharing knowledge with each other?

I'm sure there are several that would be interested in what you have to share.

Because it's something I'd rather do in small stages instead of one HUGE project. I may do it in stages and have different posts. I agree with sharing knowledge, but A LOT of people don't care and do everything they can to have as much turbo noise as possible. This is more of a niche... within a niche.

I've thought about doing some things to cut down on road-noise, but I like the sound the motor makes... I'd definately be interested to see how you do it, but my project budget for sound deadening is like $30 worth of pipe insulation rolls, maybe that door seal mod, I'll have to check that out, hahaha

i love to have a jet takeoff sound all the time...but i love to have it outside the cab. i know what that and a straight piped exhaust sounds like, why have to listen to it all the time its for everyone outside to hear i would be very interested in a write up.

I really dont think having a quiet cab is about taking away from the engine sound and the whistle of the turbo.

For me, it would be more of a taking away of the sound of thin sheet metal flexing and resonating. the dyno mat would definately stop the noice resonation and stiffin up the sheet metal.

The other aspect is road noise. even with all the doors shut, sometimes it sounds like they are not completely closed. I did the door seal mod on mine, and it help a good bit, but the lining the interior of the door panels, floor, and even the roof would make it Lexus quiet.

You should check out RAAM mat as an alternative to DynaMat. LINK It received some good reviews from the sound deadener showdown... LINK

Holy Cow, getting ready to do a carpet delete on my truck, some of the raam mat on the steel floor might cut out quiet a bit of road noise.
Then I should really be able to here the turbo. LOL
