Buying injectors online.
I have later 1999 7.3 that all injectors are being replaced. The mechanic already has the valve covers, injectors and glow plugs.. pulled waiting on me.
I thought I had some injectors secured but found out different. I have check with >O'reilly's, #1-#7 $323.00 #8 $315.00 (unsure of brand) >Auto Zone #1-#7 $289.00 #8 $307.00 (Cardone) >Advance Auto, #1-#7 $320.00 #8 $315.00 (Wagner) All of these are REMAN I thought this would be about dealership price. I know I've seen them online for around $200.00. I just know you can get screwed buying online if you don't get the right company. My brother did. So I am asking anyone that has bought online for suggestions. Hopefully there will be one or two companies that shine with what I hope more than a "few" responses. OR, should I just let the mechanic worry about it with his added percentage on the parts and tell him to get them. (that way if the injectors happen to be bad from his supplier at least the monkey is on his back) Like I said ...he has the valve covers off with injectors and glow plugs pulled ready for reinstall...so yeah I am a little antsy about this. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! in advance! Last edited by j_sims; 04-23-2012 at 04:47 PM. Reason: omit |

Ok first of all, why just replace a couple of them when you can replace all of them, its only alil bit more money. Look around online somewhere, im sure thru our site sponsers you can find a good deal on a set of stage 1's that will help your truck out alot. Then all you need to do is get some custom tunes for your truck and it will be a new truck with good power and you will get rid of your split shot sticks.

I was gonna say that but I didn't want to make fun of him to much
![]() OP: the only decent places that build injectors for a 7.3 are full force, swamps, unlimited, rosewood and pis. ^^^^I wouldn't go any other way if your in there and are replacing all 8 injectors

Call full force or unlimited both are great companies. I think its $1100-1200 for stage 1s
