exernal oil filters

looking to install an after market external oil filter for my 2003 diesel f250. I am looking at the amsoil product bk23 single filter. Wanted to know if there are inherent problems with doing this such as oil foaming etc or are they as good as they claim for keeping your oil clean and therefore less maintenance in the long run.....anybody out there with experience?????

no problem. there are a couple of kits out on the market for our trucks. nuc stated a little bit ago that they were making a washable reusable one they hope to have out by the first part of next year. which will be awesome not haveing to buy them anymore!

Do you have the 6.0? AMSOIL recommends the BMK21 for the 6.0. I can get a better price for you than you see on the AMSOIL site. Let me know and I will send you a quote.

I would appreciate the quote. You can send it to chessatthrees@yaoo.com if it is easier.
