Which stroker to get

Ok some time when i get out of high school and finish auto classes and my diesel
teck course i want to get a powerstroke what do you recommend i get?

Does anybody have any recommendation? i am leaning toward a nice 7.3L around 1999?

If you get a 7.3 then try to find a 2002 or early 03. They're more refined, just have a nicer look. The 7.3 is a great choice for sure. I'd go that, or a 6.7.

thanks for the input yeah that 6.7L sounds like a heck of an engine maybe by the time i get out of school 6.7L will be a bit cheaper

yea they'll be cheaper, and there will be way more feedback on them. Not to mention more aftermarket components.

One more vote on the 7.3! The last GREAT engine made by Navistar for Ford. Go with whatever year you want on it, but I'd steer clear of early 1999 due to the frankenstein type setup of it.

ok i do like the early 1997 style but hp are low i guess a few mods could help that

My vote was for the 6.0. Great engine, gobs of power, AND it still sounds like a diesel!
