Question Up-Badgeing

What do you guys think about Trucks that have Been Up-Badged?

When is it ok?

An F250 Emblem could be swapped with an F350 and no-one would be the wiser.....

But How about a big Jump such as an F250 being badged as a F450....

Doesn't really matter... If you want to spend the money on new badges feel free.

I think you should keep the same F#50 badge, go up in years, but unless its an obvious jump, like 250 to 550, i think it looks like your just trying to make the truck look "nicer" than it is.

I'd say uping it one mark wouldn't make a difference. It's when you try and pull off a 250 for a 550 when it gets ridiculous.

Guess I don't see the point? I mean, it's your's so do what ya want, but what do you gain by it? Personally, I guess if you're not trying to sell it as something it's not, then whatever. But, still, why? Is anyone REALLY so hung up they want people to think that the truck they have is "more heavy duty" than it is? I see this a lot on the LS1 (I know) forums about rebadging Trans Ams or Camaros when they aren't a WS-6 or an SS. Damn people, just be proud of what you own!

It just depends Honestly I think of getting the international badges. However Going from F250 to an F450 badge seems a bit silly.

If you ask me it's the same as the people putting fake fender vents on. Going from 250 to 350 isn't a big deal but there is an obvious difference in styling when you go bigger than that so it's just a fake emblem that serves no purpose and looks retarded.

Up-badging is not needed, IMO - I'm think about 'modernizing' my badges. The '01 badges are ok, but the newer '05-'07 badges are cooler.
