As some of you may know, I've got an IDI along with my PSD. I absolutely love this truck. Ever since I got it last year, I've been trying to find a way I could put my "thumbprint" into it. I was going to make it my "billboard" vehicle, putting all the decals I got from diesel performance companies from buying parts for my PSD, but I thought that it'd look tacky after awhile. The only decals I have on it are an S&B decal, DP Tuner Tuning decal, & of course; Powerstroke.org.
A few weeks ago, a friend I work with just came out of the blue & gave me these wicked gnarly Ford mudflaps! He said he got them from a yardsale for an old Ford truck he had, but that truck got totalled & he never used them. They are like brand-spanking new(
never used!), & they look like they're an early to mid 80s style, even though they're probably somewhere from the early 90s. Either way, they look very vintage & I love them! They're the exact size as the chrome diamond plated ones I have on the Tank(my IDI).
Now here's the wrinkle; Should I put these on the Tank? I don't know what I like better: the chrome diamond-plated ones on it, or these bada$$ rubber Ford ones I got from my friend!?!?!? I love both styles so much, but I'm not sure what would look better. Anyway, here are some pics of what the Tank looks like, it's present mudflaps, & the Ford mudflaps. Look into them real good & vote on what you think looks better. I
don't want to put either the Ford or the diamond-plates on the front wheel wells so "I could have both", I just want one or the other on the rear. Thanks to all who vote and/or post comments!

Here's the Tankster; '93 IDI SC LB 4x4. My wife says it's hers, but with all the blood, sweat, tears, & piss I put into this thing with buying a fortune of parts & many late night wrenching sessions, you all know damn well it's MINE!

Here are the diamond-plated mudflaps presently on it. They're a tiny-bit rusty, but they still look great to me!

& here's the Ford mudflaps. These things have never seen a day on the road. It's hard to believe that these mudflaps are @ least 16 years old! No rust on the hardware or brackets & the rubber is in mint condition!
So there you have it! Please cast your votes & help me choose the mudflaps!
