just curious as to which grease monkey you worked at?

i also change my own oil. its too easy to have to pay someone

I buy the materials and have my friend who runs a shop take care of the labor and disposal for me.

Well, I don't take it anywhere to get done, I showed my wife how to do it once, & when it comes time I crack my belt & tell her to throw her azz under the rig.

i change my own oil... or i take it to the oil change place my bro works at when im visiting my parents and get everything for free... (but i still change my own when im there)
