The short answer to your questions is yes, lol! You can find a chip on here through our vendors, that's the first place I would try. Look for the "want to buy" section in the forums, or click on one of the ads on these pages. Yes they make chips for the 94-97 PSDs. Gains won't be as significant as 99up 7.3.

Don't have one nor really want one. Most days it takes no more than 3 min. to cool down after a good run empty on a 100*+ day. Towing usually takes about 5 min. and I use that time to get out and walk around the rig to see if anythings outta whack, go in and use the restroom or whatever. Spare key from Wally World is only $15 sure beats $100+ for a turbo timer. |

I dont have a shut down timer. I think they are a thing of the past. I work on Cat Equip. most with a 3412 V-12 engine in them and a 3408 in the rear. With the new no idle law coming in to effect here in CA. which states no prolong idle time is now considered 5min. I have talked to CAT and was told by them that the engines need 1-1.5 min to spin down the turbos before the engine is shut off. We have been following this practice now for 6 months and have not had any turbo failures or engine trouble. I have followed the same practice on my truck and have talked with the Ford dealer. they seem to agree with the same procedure. |

My Clifford Matrix has remote start and turbo timer.
Most days I just drive easily down the residential streets near my house and shut down right away. If I've been hauling or rodding, I'll hit the button and walk away. The other night, I musta pressed the wrong buttons on the remote. 3 times as i was trying to sleep, the remote (on its own) went "beep-BEEP" and the truck fired up outside. The first time scared the heck outa me! James |
