7.3 or 6.0?

I just had a baby boy and want to sell my 99.5 super cab and buy a crew cab 4X4. I want to find a really nice 2002, or 2003 7.3 with low miles ( have found a few already)
But I really like the interior packages of the newer 6.0 crew cabs.

So, what should I do?
Stay with the reliable 7.3 (that I already know how to wrench on a bit) or go to the 6.0?
Anyone with 6.0 advice please share as to what years are the best/most reliable.
THANKS!

Adrian go with the 6.0 you wont be sorry. Just run an Oasis on it. Stud it and delete the EGR cooler if you want and they are bulletproof.

I love mine. 71k on it zero issues other than a brake caliper froze up

I say get what you want. You know by now what you need to do to a 6.0 to make it safe so I say go for it if you like them.

Well I have had my 06 6.0 since 07 and with filter, exhaust and innovative programmer it will run. It rides like a lincoln compared to my 7.3 and less interior noise for the little one. I just recently bought a 00 with 98k miles and what a difference in get up and go but I did not buy it for the speed, although nice low end torque. My vote is for the 6.0 if you have the money to stud and egr delete the motor. When mine runs out of warrenty it will get studs and egr deleted, till then just take it easy.
