Thanks for all the chatter. My 7.3 isn't very loud anymore since I installed the high pressure cross over line a few years ago, even if it was I'm not worried about the noise. I just like the interior packages of the 6.0's better. They are just wayyyy nicer, of course because they are newer. I haven't decided yet. As things sit I'm really not in a hurry to get rid of my 7.3 that I paid cash for, in exchange for a truck payment.

yeah every time I look/drool at a new truck I start thinking man that comes with a payment. I hate vehicle payments

is there any fuel milage difference between the two. i have a 03 with a 7.3 and the best i get is 16mpg.

Ive gotten 22 out of mine if I granny it. At least thats what the OHD tells. My average seems to be a molre realistic 19. Still kicks the crap out of my dodge Dakota that got a best of 12 MPG hwy.
