The Bible says that God will not support a nation that turns against him. I will go look up the verse if you want me to. Maybe I worded the first comment a little bad but you know what I mean.

I just can't beleive someone would want there state to secede from the union. It just boggles my mind. Do you ever leave texas? Do you ever buy anything not made in texas? do you think if a secession were successful, that the rest of the us would be allowed to trade with texas, or you would be free to visit with your buddies in say, OK? the answer is no. the Gov would punish texas, and you would be left all alone in the world, forced to make do on your own. Not to mention the military aspect f it, the lack of federal funding for your infrastructure, etc etc etc. I really hope this talk of secession is half joking, and not really how you guys feel. Any major business in texas would leave, plunging texas into a very deep economic depression. there is no way texas would survive on it's own. texas is part of America too, just like the other 49 states. just my opinion.

The Mayor of my city said he would take full Financial responsibility of the 2016 olympics. Mayor Daley that is. We already have the highest sales tax and on and on. Still, It's not so bad.

And legally, Texas is the ONLY state that can secede from the USA for any reason without retribution from the other 49 states, to include DC. Problem is, that if Secession DOES happen, those of us that are currently out of the GREAT State of Texas, would be effed. Most likely arrested for supporting "the bad guys". There isn't any protection for those out of the state. Maybe it would be a good time to transfer my reg., tags and TDL to my current state, just to not be hassled.

On a side note...I got a speeding ticket in Brisco the other day doing 80 in a 65 on my way to work. He didn't say anything about my DL other than, "What are you doing in MD?" When my baby-mommo ex's parents called the cops on me for tresspassing last week, one officer asked for my DL, and came back saying that my DL is not valid...though it clearly states that it is good till 2014. Dunno what the eff is going on with that, but the GREAT state of TX says that my DL is good. Crazy!!! Maybe the cops are in on it and know more than we do...they might know that we're gonna secede.
