Since you guys are always up to date..... What do you know about the proposed pocket knife ban? The Kmarts in the area have put ALL their knives on clearance.......

My understanding is the ban is on ANY knife you can open with one hand. As most of the new ones have the post you open with your thumb.
It is a national proposal from our friend OBAMA.
As far as the Kmart clearancing theirs, I do not know where all that is.

thats bull.....there is no justification to ban those....the reason they are using applies to ALL knives....

They are testing the waters, if they get this crap passed it will give them confidence to start on "certain guns" again....... They won't stop if they get support.......

what about box cutters then?

i think that the people up top need to realize that they cannot protect everyone from EVERYTHING. sh!t happens, but banning everything that could possibly be dangerous is stupid.
