Well looks like the government thinks that they need to be in charge of pay and compensation of private companies. Last time I checked the whole point was to make as much money as you can at your position, and or move up to a higher position. Maybe Barney Franks needs to really look at what caused the financial collapse.

I think the government should have 'some' say on exec pay IF, but only UNTIL.

IF the company took goverment funds to sustain the company during the down turn and has shown they are getting their company back on track to succeed without further gov funds
But only UNTIL, the company repays the "loan"

After that, the government needs to take their hands out of the cookie jar and close the lid.

That's what we need some A-hole in D.C. deciding what an appropriate wage is. Well 65,445,394 thought electing this fool was a good idea. Maybe a few of them have changed their minds now.

If not maybe they will, when this trickles down to their level. You make 25.00 / hr? Well really you need to be making 16.00 / hr. Don't think this could happen? How many execs would have thought this could happen to them 1 year ago?

This nation needs a political leadership enema.

The exec's perform a useful function in life.
The ones that need a pay cut are in DC. Talk about worthless.
