Along with prior Presidents not collecting money from war fines. Or other loans that we have given out that were never collected.

Yes, also saw the year of the est.

Dave-left off a few Hoover, Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Gingrich, Bush, and Hastert. All of these Pres. and Speakers plus the others from Hoover's time presided over deficit spending.

Big Country- couldn't agree with you more. Loans for disasters, building Europe back up after WWII, propping up phony gov's. I remember my dad and uncles saying if all that was to be repaid we would be out of debt.
