The Myth of 90 Percent

The Myth of 90 Percent: Only a Small Fraction of Guns in Mexico Come From U.S.

Gee. Who'd of thought our esteemed administration would have manipulated gun statistics to meet there own goals instead of reality?

REALITY is a foreign concept to the liberal doctrine.

That was on my list of things to research. Thanks for posting that. I couldn't believe that when I heard it.

Somebody made a good point the other day but I can't remember who it was.

When anyone goes to Mexico you are not searched. When you come back you are subject to search. And all this while Mexico is blaming us for their crime problems???

, guess they do then.

I've only been once but that was several years ago and nobody searched me on the way in nor did I see anyone. I was however led to a separate room before re-entry. Apparently I fit the bill for a prescription drug smuggler. Talk about killing a good buzz

They certainly do. There was a story last year about one of our Marines who was home after his tour and was driving towards Mexico down in S. Cal. He had a rifle in his truck and he went past the last point he could turn around and was forced to go to the gate crossing the border and he explained he merely wanted to turn around rather than enter there country. They searched his truck, found the rifle and took him to jail...he may still be there for all i know.

Last time I was in Mexico was the early 80's. No search on the way in, and only asked if I had anything to declare on the way back. We used to hire the little Mexican kids on the Mexican side of the check station to haul a case of Corona and a liter of Cuervo back across the border for us. Good days are gone forever I think!

A little common sense will get you far with this story. How many guns that are full auto have you seen in your local gun store? How many rpgs can you get ahold of? Grenades? I knew that was a bunch of crap when it came out. Probably 15% of the guns crossing are in US Military boxes. They are being sold to the Mexican government. They they go to the drug dealers from there. Just my look on it from my limited point of view.

From what I heard on the Radio they were mostly SKS rifles so that'll tell you where they came from.....
