If we eliminate 1/2 of these crimes, just by getting rid of handguns altogether, that's a 30% decrease in violent crimes. Not a bad number just by doing one thing, eh? Everybody is gunna cry about freedom and "I'm allowed to have a handgun!", but guess what, by y'all saying boo hoo don't take our handguns, you're helping the very criminals that you have the gun to protect yourselves from! Kinda confusing I know... but I didn't know how to word it.
You have no idea what you are talking about. You don't even have the facts because you are making them up. See red.

Our Constitution guarantees us certain rights in this country that you don't have the luxury of. You don't even have the right to freedom of speech!

The man you shot commited no crime. Knives are legal.
Citizen: But he was going to kill that man!
Police: But he didn't, did he? You murdered him! Hands behind your back, you're under arrest!

Is that about how it would go?
Scary though isn't it? Ever watch Minority Report? Smells kinda like that only in reverse.

Good Lord, criminals always have all the rights.

Now what do you have against these good down home folk?

Sounds like you are racist. You better watch out there bud.

You're playing with stereotypes now. That's a dangerous habit to fall into.
I think we know what this fella is all about.

Wow, no one said anything about Stupid America. Better comparison would have been, United States of AmeriKa.

I am starting to think the education in Canada is severely lacking.

Tell that to the Bobies in England, that now have full automatic weapons for defense, It isn't a perfect world. They banned most hand guns there and look what happened, I'm sure if they banned them here the criminals would give theirs up. lmao

The reason i spelled Canada with a K is, back before we had to lock our guns up and register them , We never had to lock our house doors or worry about our cars or trucks being stolen. So for now it is Kanada, a land of bleeding hearts.

I don't really care who you are or what you do. When you make statements like you did before, you are going to ruffle a few feather. Especially with the attitude you have toward life and liberty.

This is a gun thread. You wanna start with education, start another thread and lets get it on.

Banning hand guns, and destroying them all would make knife, stick and fist crimes possible without fear. My wife could not defend herself against a larger male attacker. The Sixgun was called the equalizer, all men are created equal and a gun keeps them thatway. When I lived in Arizona I would sometimes exercise my right to open carry, one late night in a convenience store on the outskirts of Phoenix, I was buying some snacks and water for a 4x4 trip, 2 men entered and circled the store, checked in the walk in cooler and back room, ran toward the cashier, saw my gun on my hip, got wide eyed, ran out of the store and sped off in a waiting car. I don't know what the were up to, and there is no way to keep statistics on crimes that never happen, but the were not there to buy a bag of chips. Comparisons between the US and Canada fail because the US is not just a larger version of our nieghbor to the north. We have a corrupt, poverty stricken country on our southern border, run by criminal gangs. All jokes aside, Canada does not. We are much more urban and densely populated, we have nearly as many illeagal aliens as Canada has Canadians. I fear that many people in the US want to follow the Canadian model (more socialist, less freedom), but our results will not be the same because our countries are not the same. Canadians should be thankful that they, for the most part, are able to see this as an intelectual exercise, not a matter of self preservation like many people in the US are forced to see it.
