It needs to happen, we the people should show the government a thing or 2, but most of the people in this country are spineless. All I can say is when it happens, Texas will succeed and I will leave the military and go home and defend it.

When thinking about the public revolting against the government, I usually think about countries in the middle east, India, Asia, etc. I don't usually think about America, but with the current economic situation, and a guy that has no idea how to fix the problem in the commanders seat, I could definitely see the public doing something along those lines.

In my personal opinion, I believe that the economy is going to continue to get worse, and if Osama gets his way with his new ideas, he will bring this country to the brink, he absolutely has on idea that what he is doing is going to seriously cripple this country. Ofcourse with a bad economy comes an increase in crime, now its usually a certain type of crime, ie home invasions, burglaries, muggings, etc whatever someone can do to make some money, to get back what they lost. Thats one of the reasons I am pursuing my handgun license, and getting a 2nd shotgun for home defense. I don't live in an area that is high crime, but with the economy getting worse every week, I figure it is only a matter of time.

Strokedcoastie, you and I both know they are. How painful would it be to see something as great as the USA that you constructed the foundation for, destroyed over 30 years

You know, I am in the military and I will defend this country and give my life if need be, but day after day of this crap going on, it saddens me to see that the "Idea" of America is going out the window.
