Best gun investments... Economic Recovery

Well I keep reading that Obama wants to reinstate the assault weapons ban so I am thinking this is a better investment than the stock market.
I remember when Clinton did the first ban.
Price of assault weapons tripled or more
Magazines over 10 rounds went up probaby 5 fold or more...
Seems like a pretty good return on investment to me!!!

So I am wondering if the 10 round magazine limit would be reinstated if Obama reenacts the gun ban?

What would be the best "assault rifle' brands and models to buy and which brands of magazines... ( based on resale return on investment) I know my Glock magazines went from $20 to $140 or so last time around...

I know there are lots of folks here who really know their guns so I figure its a good place to ask...

I guess I am being the eternal optimist here... Look for the positive in everything. Maybe it's time to apply for an FFL and stock up

I don't need you calling me an idiot . I love my AK, and there are a lot of people like me. AK's, MAK-90's, AR's, will be worth a lot of money, but they are expensive right now and hard to find.

piece of **** huh? Only one of the most reliable guns ever made, and will shoot just about any ammo you can stuff into it...sure AR's etc. are more exotic and accurate but for the $$ an AK is a gun that can be tossed around and neglected and give you plently of reliable fun!

You are right but from an investment stand point they will never be worth much more than they are now.

The best investment I can think of right now is PVC and end caps.

I agree on the quality of the AK. If you can get a AK to a 5 foot group at a hundred yards your doing good. Good investment though poeple like em
