What good can you do for your country

It was suggested in that thread that we start a new thread having to do with "what we can all do individually or as a whole to help this country out in this time of need.
So here it is. Once the thread takes on a direction, maybe a mod can change the title name.

have at it. no marijuana talk

I think we should start by talking to our neighbors. Get to know them. Help them out. Form community groups.

And buy guns and lots of ammo!

In general, we should just become more aware. Of ourselves and others.

I figured you would know most if not all the folks in your area. Some people out there don't really care.

I don't think any one of us can ever have enough ammo.

Write your reps. Situational Awareness. Ammo and some food supplies. You will need water too. It is good to have much of this anytime as you never know when the power might go off, tornado, hurricane, floods of black outs. Know your neighbors and the people that live around you. I think you need to be able to help yourself before you can do anything else for anyone else.

Help neighbors with projects around their house. Work with local law enforcement on anything you can. Help with local government and be as active and you can. If you think there is something that needs to be changed, get to know the people that can change it and work with them.
